Owl Camera
The owl camera is a 360-degree camera with an integrated mic that we have been sending to some schools as an alternative to Cisco system - it hooks up via USB to a screen. The school will connect to the Zoom call on a computer and connect this camera as well as a screen (often a smartboard or projector).
Connect the Owl Camera to Zoom
Plug the Owl camera into a wall outlet
Plug the USB cable from the Owl camera into the computer. Wait until Owl's eyes stop pulsing, and you hear a hoot. This indicates that your Owl is fully powered on.
In Zoom, click the up arrow in the top right corner of the Video button and select the Owl Camera from the pop-up
In Zoom, click the up arrow in the top right corner of the Auio button and select the Owl Camera from the pop-up for mic and speaker
Depending on the version of the Owl Camera they have, the mute and volume buttons will be in a different location. Refer to the image below to see where they should be.
