Learn about how Connected North Sessions are booked

Updated over a week ago

You can request a Connected North Session to be booked through the Connected North digital platform. To get started, login at sessions.connectednorth.org with your school e-mail address.

If your school is a part of the Connected North program, you have an assigned school lead who supports your school in booking Connected North Sessions. You'll see their name and phone number in the top right corner after logging in. Is your school not yet a part of Connected North? Learn more about joining the Connected North program.

After logging in, click on the Search menu, and enter a keyword to find the session you'd like to book. You can use the Content Provider's name, session title, or use the search filters to find a relevant Session by subject, grade level, Well-being area, or Indigenous groups.

Once you find the Session you'd like to book, you can click "View Details" to read more about it, and then click the "Request" button to make a request to book this Session for your class. You'll be asked to fill out a short form to provide two date and time options, the number of students participating (helpful if we need to send supplies), and provide information on the Grade Level(s) and notes for the content provider:

Once you Submit the request, your School Lead will work with the Content Provider to confirm one of the times you've requested, or send you back some alternative dates and times. Once confirmed, you'll receive a Meeting Invite over e-mail with the connection details. If your school has a Cisco WebEx Connected North unit, joining the session might be as easy as pushing the green button on the touch panel when the time comes!
